Teaching objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students are expected to
get the main idea and the main plot of the story.
learn two reading strategies and try to use them in reading The wind in the willows.
learn and apply the ways to analyse the personalities of characters based on the facts such as words, actions,inner thoughts,etc.
find out the factors that makes Pinocchio a real boy.
Teaching difficulties:
Students learn to analyze the main characters’ personalities based on the relevant materials.
Students can learn the two reading strategies and put them into practice correctly in reading.

Students can grasp the process of Pinocchio’s being a real boy .
Students can master the theme of the story with the development of the plot.
